Does anyone know if you book your cruise through DCL's website, can you specify which cabin # you want? I went through the quote screens and saw nothing about cabin #'s. I got as far as the payment screen.

'fraid not. I'm sure someone else would know though.

So you know, though, I booked my cruise through the DCL rep on the phone and I am still able to access it online, unlike the ressie system at CRO which is either one or the other.

I make all my payments thru the web, and this way I could pick our stateroom (The Barb & Tony Suite! - haha)

for a quick response. Just reasearch your cabin and have a plan "B" ready if your first request is not available. Unless the system has changed, I seem to recall that booking online requires payment in full at time of booking as opposed to phoning which allows you to pay your deposit and then make increment payments thereafter up to 60 days before sailing when payment in full is due. It's less of a bite all at one time!;) Have a great time planning!::yes::

Unless they have changed it since last year, I was allowed to see which cabins were available and then I called AAA and told them which cabin to book. - Mike

Evidently it has changed since you booked last year, because I just checked the website again and I can only get as far as the screen that asks for your credit card payment. There isn't anything prior to that screen that allows you to choose a cabin #. You can see which cat.'s are available, but that is all. I didn't know if maybe the cabin # selection screen came after the payment screen, so I wanted to know before I let them charge my card. Oh, well, I guess I'll just have to call. So much for convenience! Thanks to everyone who replied!

Try America West Airlines. Click on Cruises. Select Disney and what date you are traveling. I just selected a CAT 6 one in November and my first selection came up GRTD (meaning no cabins specifically you can book). I then selected a CAT 5 and it came up with a list of available cabins. You can then call DCL or your travel agent after finding a cabin to your liking. I do not know why DCL took this feature away. Seems silly to have to go to another site that is not Disney to get ths info.- Mike

P. S. I need to sign-off for now. If you have any issues, send me a PM with your phone number and I will be more than happy to walk thru this with you over the phone on Monday. - Mike
