We will be bringing our daughters and grandchildren (5 of them, ages9-12) on their first Disney Cruise next April. We are looking at Oceanview rooms on Deck 2, aft or the front of ship is available. Which location do you prefer and why ? Thanks
Which ship? And how far aft/forward. We stayed right at the aft elevators on the Wonder and loved that location. It's about as far aft as I'd like to be though, could feel minor engine vibrations in that location--just enough to notice it, but not be bothered by it. It felt worse to me the further aft you go (I really noticed it in the deck 3 Aft Main Dining Room the first night.)

I'm figuring you're asking about the Magic class (Magic & Wonder) ships. There are no stateroom aft on deck 2 on the Fantasy class.
My preference is midship/aft. The (possible) up and down motion of forward rooms is what makes me wary of forward room. That said, there are people who simply love the up and down and will only book forward rooms.
I love Room 2004.... not noisy, a little larger due to the curvature of the bow and a little window seat under the window. Great access to stair and elevators, too.
