Cabin Refurishment

Anyone have any details on the cabin refurbishment? We are coming Nov 14 so we are just wondering what kind of impact it might have.

Not much info, but I can give you this-we were at Fort Wilderness in July, and there was a loop closed off for refurbishment, so I know the cabins are being worked on.

Do you recall which loop that was?

I believe all they are doing to the cabins is replacing the deck's and repainting the outside. We were there earlier this year and they had several of the cabin only loops blocked off for that. The cabins are in decent shape so that's probably all they're doing is finishing those off.

No, I don't remember the loops. We were bike riding, so I wasn't paying attention. Sorry.

They had a loop closed in May as well and they were working on new decks from what we could see as well. We love FW.

I was there last week. I was staying in the 2800 loop. There was refurb work on the cabins on the other side of the road from the 2800 loop. I believe that is the 2600 loop. I am not sure if they were working on the entire loop. I am also not sure if it was the only loop being worked on.
