Cabin question

My parents and I are staying in an accessible cabin at FW in November. My mom will probably need an ECV and I will for sure need one. I just found out my niece and nephew might stay with us. Because each of us adults needs our own bed and mom doesn't want the either kid on the top bunk, we will need two air mattresses - one in the bedroom and one in the living room. Is there room for that?

I would say no. Once you pull out the murphy bed in the LR, there is not much floor space. We had my daughters pack-n-play in the bedroom and it fit, but it was tight.

A single air matress might fit in the bedroom at the end of the beds as long as people dont get stepped on!!

One of the kids could sleep on the couch. I guess I am assuming they are kid age!!

They are 8 1/2 and 10 1/2 and tall for their ages

Juas as an FYI - The top bunk has rails. I've never hesitated to let the kids in our group (as young as 4) be on the top bunk.

the top bunk is fine. We had a 4 year old sleep there as well. The only place for air mattresses would be the kitchen area. The murphy bed fills the living room

The upper bunk has a rail all the way around it; you'll see when you get there it will be fine. As an alternative, the sofa is next to the Murphy bed and one child could sleep there while the other took the bottom bunk.

Thanks for all the feedback. I had a friend in college who got a traumatic brain injury when climbing out of a loft bed. He slipped on the ladder. He was not drinking or on drugs. It was just that he wasn't awake enough. Because of this, there is no way my parents would let one of their grandchildren sleep on a top bunk. I know the risk is minimal, but there is a risk of falling.

If thats where it stands then you could fit an air mattress in the kitchen and have a kid sleep on the small couch.

You could also maybe put the chairs up on the table and gain a little room at the foot of the Murphy bed with the kid sleeping under the table.

As you can see in the posted photos there is no room between the beds in the bed room and I don't think there is much room at the foot of the bed.

I have been in the cabins and with the Murphy bed down there is no room in the living room.

What we have decided is 1 child will stay with us on an air mattress if there is room. Looking at the layout, I am guessing we won't have any kids with us.
