Cabin or Pirate room?

The pirate rooms are double-beds with a terrible mattress in the furthest reaches of CBR. If you don't have small kids who like pirates and a car, don't do it.
I absolutely agree. For the money, I would take the cabin or even look into a different room/stay altogether.

Tough call. I'd probably pass altogether. I don't like that the cabins have no quick service, especially with free dining. Also have read it's a pain to get around there. I would not stay in a pirate room for the paper thin mattresses that are only double beds. They are also so far from the food court that I noticed a food cart down there in the am- yikes. But that's me

Who is in your party? What are their ages?
Cabins are currently being refurbed and the new Cabins look great. The bedroom will now have a Queen bed and a bunk set and the living room Murphy bed has been removed. That area is now the TV above and much needed storage below. There is a pull out Queen sleeper sofa instead of the double Murphy.
I think the new Cabins look great.

There is quick service at the fort. PJ's Southern Take out shares space with Trails End and is inbetween Trails End and Hoop Dee Doo. The Pool also has an OK menu as well. Sure it isn't as convenient as many other resorts, but to be fair, what is at the campground?

Cabin for 300$ more than pirate room for a week. Thoughts?

Just curious .................. how you came to these two options, not like they are comparable bedding wise.

Are you trying for Free Dining and saying these are your only two options? If so, for first day released that is not a good sign.

But honestly I would have to have a car at either one and I rather be in the brand new cabins and drive everywhere but MK.

Good to know. I was told on these boards a couple of years ago, no quick service there. I wrote it off at that point. The campground? I don't consider that a resort.
