Which cabin loop do we want and why? How do we request a specific cabin loop?
Thank you!

What is important to you?

Do you want privacy and quiet?

Do you want to be near a bus stop?

Near the cabin pool/laundry?

Close to the Meadow Pool/Trading Post?

Do you plan on renting a golf cart?

If none of these things are important to you, then it doesn't really matter which cabin loop you get.

If any of these things are important to you, let us know, and someone can make some suggestions.

Great questions and sorry for not providing more information.

We will ahve a rental car and we are not renting a golf cart.
I think being close to the big pool and having quiet would both be good things.

We have never stayed at the Fort so we are not sure what to expect and not sure what we want.

Have you looked at a resort map? There's a good one here -
http://www.wdwinfo.com/resortmaps/fortwilderness.htm

The cabin loops are the 2000 loops. The closest to the big pool (and still a decent 10-15 minute walk) are 2100 and 2200. You can see the small pool at the opposite end of the cabin area, there are cabins very close to that one.
The whole place is pretty quiet. The quieter cabins are probably the ones farthest from the main road, back by the smaller pool.

The best way to request a certain loop is to call WDW and have your loop number noted on your reservation.
