cabin discounts in May

Anybody gotten a discount on a cabin at the end of May? We are planning a trip with a couple of extended family members. My family has a TT, but none of the the others do. We are also DVC members, but wouldn't have enough pts for everyone's accomodations. Also considering renting some pts for that, but money is tight for some. My sister is a Fl. resident, so she could get a discount with that. We also have annual passes and AAA. We would need 2 cabins and a campsite. We haven't stayed at the fort since 2006, but we loved it. My husband hates towing the TT that far. Are there any campsites near the cabins, so we could all be close? Thanks for any info!!!

The only problem on the discounts (Florida Resident, Annual Pass Holder, AAA...not sure about military) is that they are not offered all the time. Really hit or miss to get them in my experience. Have you thought about just getting a few campsites (how many ever you need) and your family could just rent campers. I think some places bring them in and set them up for you. Sounds like ya'll are experienced but not sure about your family. Might be cheaper than going the cabin route and plus ya'll could all stay together. And you could always put any older kids in tents on your site. That way they have their own space and you have your sanity! Just a thought.
