Cabin 7044, directly by midship elevator lobby

I got a price quote today -- a really good one -- but the cabin is 7044 and after looking at the deck plans, that is directly next to the midship elevator lobby. From what I could tell, you would get off the elevator and the cabin would be immediately there. Convenient, yes, but what about the noise? I'm imagining a lot of crowd noise from people getting on/off the elevator.

Any thoughts? Anyone with a similar room location -- what was your experience?

We were in 6554 during the May 1st Eastern. It is just about the same area about 3 cabins down from the Midship elevator lobby on deck 6. We never had problems with noise from the elevator lobby. And yes you will love the convenience!!!

We loved the location!!! Easy access to everything! We would rebook in this location in an instant. Just wich we could do it sooner rather then later.

If you look on the deck plan layout on the disney site, your room is just past the wall where the hall entrance is. The rooms ARE NOT next to the stairs or elevators. There is a foyer when you get off the elevators and you have to turn right or left to get to your room. You then pass through an open archway and the staterooms begin.

You room is actually "next" to the wall where the staircase is, not the elevator.

And your room is on the outside wall. I really don't think you will have a problem. The occasional kid running up and down the hall or yelling can happen anyway in the hallway. I've never really seen a mob scene near any of the elevators or stairs on stateroom decks.

If it's a really good deal, I'd go for it.

We stayed in 7544. Same location, on the opposite side. We didn't hear a thing. Great location.
