Cabanas or Ranchos at CSR?

We are leaving this Friday for CSR and have never stayed there before. I'm just wondering what section everyone would recommend for 3 adults with 2 kids (9 & 11). We have been there before, but it is the first time for my sis who is coming with us.

We want to be close to the dig site, but also close to the bus stop and possibly el centro, however, we also want the great theming we have come to expect with Disney.

It sounds as if Cabanas are the best, but since we have stayed at CBR before, I was wondering if the Ranchos section was a good alternative.

I prefer the Casitas, near the quiet pool.

cabana 9b is close to bus stop 1 and the main building with a short walk to the Dig Site over the wooden bridge

cabana 8a is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a short walk to the main building.

cabana 8b and 9a are inbetween the 2 above.

ranchos 7b has a quiet pool, is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a bit longer walk to the main building. 7b is behind cabana 8a.

The casitas are close to the gym, spa and have great fountains and courtyards. casita 5 is close to the Dig Site with a good walk to the main building. The lower the casita number the closer towards the main building.

We stayed in the Cabanas 8A and absolutely loved the location - found it very convenient for the pool and bus stop and only a short walk to the food court. Have Fun!!!
