Has anyone ever rented a cabana at Typhoon Lagoon? What was the experience like? Did you find it worth it? I'm having difficulty finding pricing for November, does anyone have an idea of cost? Thank you!

I booked one for our upcoming trip on Monday. I can't remember the cost, but I think it was around $300.00?? I am looking forward to the shade, our own spot, cooler with water and an attendant.

Did you find it easy to book with your tip coming right up? How early in advance would you suggest booking? I hope you have an amazing time! I think I also ready you get refillable mugs as well, is that true?

We didn't get a cabana but rented the chairs and umbrella in a roped off area and it was great. I know that's not what you are asking but thought I would throw out another option! Good luck!

Thank you so much! I did read about that as well! Did you feel comfortable leaving your stuff there or did you still rent a locker?

I booked about 3mo ahead of time and had no trouble. The CM who booked our cabana said that they are popular, so I would book as far out as possible. I think you are right about the mug, we are on the dining plan, so I guess we will get more mugs!

Thanks for the good wishes, we are excited.

You can never have too many mugs rights??? :) I'm going to email my TA and have her add it to our plans! Thank you for your help!

I just left stuff in my bag under the lounge chair and had no prob,em. It's not a very large area and they do check to make sure you have a pass to get back in it.

We rented one at Blizzard Beach last summer and loved it with a 7 month old. I put her in the stroller to nap and I had a nice cool place to relax. We will do it again for sure when we go in August. We rented it when we got there and had no issues getting one. I think it was about $240.00.

did you feel comfortable leaving your stuff there without a locker to walk around and go in the water??

I was pretty comfortable with it, but I was also very close to the cabana most of the time because it was right near the little kid area and I had a four year old and seven month old, so we spent most of our time there or very close by. I do take my phone, but usually don't take my wallet since we have Magic bands. I just bury the phone in the diaper bag and have not had any issues.

I didn't have any young kids on our trip. We threw our towels on a couple of loungers when we arrived. Only returned to them to pick them up at the end of our day. So we wouldn't have gotten our money's worth. We used the lazy river for relax time!

The beach shack cabanas have a locker, at least they did when we were there in April. Enjoy!

We're going in less than a month, and I was able to book umbrellas for both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon this morning. Total price is under $60 for an umbrella, chairs & towels. Definitely seems worth it to me as otherwise I'd be paying for towels and a locker anyway, and still struggling to find/keep a shady spot throughout the day. I plan on just wearing my magic band, and carrying my license & cards, etc. in a waterproof pouch around my neck. The rest I'll feel fine leaving in the reserved umbrella area. Unfortunately, no locker is included. I look forward to knowing we'll have a guaranteed, comfortable spot to relax and have lunch. Not having a nice spot of our own to rest at was the one negative of our water park visits last July.
