Hi all. Planning a week long trip at the end of August and I am hesitant to book the hotel room yet because I have yet to book the airfare. Airfare is usually cheapest in the 60-90 days out range. I know we will travel on a Monday or Tuesday but not sure which yet. Which is why I'm hesitant to book the room now. Queston is: does the hotel change it's prices as the date gets closer or as it gets more booked up? The price is reasonable now but maybe not if they adjust the prices. Been watching for about a month now and the price hasn't changed. Any advise or info on hotel rates? Thanks guys/gals.

Prices get more expensive as the hotel fills up. If it isn't filling up, the prices go down. There usually are pretty good prices the end of August.

Another thing to consider is whether you can get a discounted rate. Not sure how long you plan to be in the parks, but, if it is more than a couple of days, you may want to upgrade at least one of your tickets to a Seasonal Pass, which can save you significantly on onsite room rates.

If you decide to do that, then you will need to check regularly for when the hotels have 'APH' rates available...right now, they haven't listed any discounts beyond May 25th.

Many times, the more nights you stay decreases the average cost per night.

Right now, without annual passes if you stayed the last week of August...on week nights...the CB costs are $117-$134/night, depending how many nights you stay.
