Cabana at the grand?

we will be guests at the DLH soon and I thought getting a cabana at the grand would be a great way to experience their pool for a few hours.

Has anyone gotten a cabana at the grand? What was your experience? It sounds like the prices have gone up quite a bit. It's now 150 for 4 hrs. Seems pretty steep.

We usually do cabanas at the DLH, and that price is about the same as 2 years ago. We really enjoy the cabanas. The staff is usually great, the fruit tray is nice (not great), but I like it because I can hang out with the kids and watch TV while they swim.

We got a cabana at the Grand last September and it was fantastic!!! I loved it, and if we ever go back to the Grand I would definitely get a cabana again. I loved being able to relax out of the sun and have a tv. Loved ordering food easily and not having to fight for a chair. Our only disappointment was that soft drinks were not included (they did give us a few bottles of water and a meh fruit plate). We thought that for the price, we should have at least gotten a coke. But again, not a big deal. I thought it was well worth the money and loved it as did my 2 little boys (ages 4 & 7) and ny DH.

Okay great! Actually we are doing it the first day after driving down the 400+ miles from home.

Can you reserve the cabana for the day you are checking into the hotel? We are getting their very early and won't be doing the park that day, but need something to do while waiting for the rest of our group to arrive, so thought about renting a cabana.

Out of curiosity, what do the cabana rentals cost?

You might want to check but if you're staying at the DLH, your only cabana option is probably at the DLH and not at the GCH.

Unlike pool-hopping, you can rent a cabana at the Grand if you are staying at the DLH and vice-versa. (PPH cannot rent at the other pools.)

They have 2 half days - 930am-130p and 2-6p. It is $150 for a half day. Or you can go 10am-6pm. It is $285 (Going off memory...) for a full day.
