Cab to Magic Kingdom?

We are thinking about trying to sneak an evening at MK the day before our cruise. We are staying at the Airport Hyatt- I know we could take a Mears Shuttle- but since we will be pressed for time as it is, I was wondering how much a cab ride to MK would be from the Airport.

I was thinking about staying at a Disney resort, but since we leave the begining of April, we have purchesed transfers already, and since I have them, I think it might be too late to change.

Does anyone have any ideas on the cost of a cab?

If there are 3 or 4 of you it would be much cheeper to rent a car "for the day". A couple of years ago when I checked into this it would have been over $100 round trip from the airport to WDW and back I don't know what the current options are since we now always rent a car (and I HATE driving around cental florida!!!).

My DW and I were on the 1/15 cruise, but arrived early on the 14th and stayed at the airporty Hyatt. We went to the Magic Kingdom for the day via cab. Including the tip, we paid around $60 one way.

As far as transfers, I believe they would cover you from the resorts as well, I don't think it costs more, but I might be wrong. It could be worth investigating though, if the cab fare is going to exceed the cost for a room at a Disney resort. And the rental car option is also a good one, depending on the cost.
