Cab ride for 8!

Whilst we are there it's our friends B'day and we are going to spend the day at DC (hopefully) as they do all inclusive we wondered about getting a cab from our villa to DC so we could all relax and all have a small drink to celebrate.

Are cabs expensive and would we have to get 2 or do they do bigger ones for all 8 of us? Can anyone recommend a company to use, we've always used the cars before

Don't know if anyone has any knowledge but if you have anything would help

We are there for 3 weeks in October, off site, no car and plan to use Lynx Buses and Mears taxi's for our whole trip.
There are 7 of us, and Mears gave me the best quotes.
