cab or shuttle from LAX to DL?

Mom and two teens will be arriving LAX late at night (11:30PM) and need to get to the Grand Californian. The rate for a cab is much less than the DL bus or the shuttle van but will we have trouble getting a cab? Is there a safety concern one way or another? How old is a "child" for the shuttle bus or van? Thanks for your help!

Well if your going with teenagers then this doesnt matter, but if you were going with those who have small children who need car seats then it would be a problem. You would have to bring your own. Super Shuttle doesnt offer car seats and I dont know any cabs that have them as well...

Costs of a shuttle $9.00 each (For anyone over the age of 3), under that is free. I thought it was around $15.00, but I just quoted it on the super shuttle website for LAX and it says its 9.00

I would call up the cab company and see how much it would cost you

As for say the Disneyland Resort Express Bus that you can grab at the airport, it is $19.00 per person for one way or $28.00 for round trip.

I just got a quote from supershuttle.com; LAX to the Grand Californian, and the quote was $16 per person. Do you have a discount code of some kind??? Am I on the wrong website??

no thats the same site that I used. On the left hand side I went to get a quote, but I typed in from the airport to the hotel. I got the address for the grand and put that in as well and it came up $9.00

That confused me cause I always thought it was around $15 from LAX. Your quote must have come out right and mine some how managed to get screwed up.

I just took Super Shuttle from Anaheim to the airport and it was around $16pp. We stayed at the Fairfield Inn and its website estimated the cab fare at $90.
