Cab Fare from HOJO?

Hi,
Does anybody know approximately how much cab fare would be from the Hojo to the nearest grocery store? We leave in 4 more days!!!

Probably about 10 bucks each way, but you can have a grocery store deliver to you for less than that.

Albertsons and Vons both do deliveries to hotels via online ordering. You put in the hotel's address as the delivery address, and pay by credit card.

We have used both stores, but had problems with Vons online ordering system that last time, so went with Albertsons. Both were very satisfactory. We have had groceries delivered to GCH and to HoJo. You can have them delivered in hour and a half windows of time; time it for shortly before you arrive, and the hotel's bell desk will hold them for you. Be sure to call the hotel before and let them know you have groceries arriving. I asked them especially if they would mind putting them up in our room for us, so the refrigerated items would stay cold, and they did that. Normally I think they just hold them, though. Our delivery consisted of bottled water, milk, juice, yogurt, individual cereal cups, fresh fruit, cheese, crackers, a roll of paper towels and a package of plastic utensils.
