Seriously I know I sound like my son but come on...... they are inept.
I have no idea what possessed me to book with them because I knew that a deal would come out that would be better than the aaa/caa deal, it always does. but.... i booked with them thinking oh well i can just go in there and pay it with cash when I want and it will be easy blah blah
I called this afternoon to have the lady there add the code (which I had) to my reservation. plus I actually asked her a couple questions...another dumb move. If I don't already know the answer I should know that I ask here!!! she didn't know any answers about park passes etc. duh...
She called me back saying it wasn't open yet, then passed me onto someone else as she had to leave, this woman never got it done and left for the day!!! then the 3rd woman I spoke to said, they couldn't book it yet as it wasn't out yet. I told her I had already spoken to disney reservations and they said all caa had to do was ask for the code I gave them to be put on the reservation and it would be done. By this time....CAA was closed for the day! ugggg:eek:
I am tempted to call res. tonight and book it again myself and call caa in the morning and tell them to cancel it and get that deposit back. ugggg
Never second guess yourself people. go with your instincts.
o.k
rant is over:laughing:
do i feel better? no but i will in the a.m when i tell them how I feel.....i think.
big breath!! ahhhhh
thanks for listening.:surfweb:

Sorry to hear you had so much trouble today. This is exactly why I book directly with Disney even though I have AAA.

I booked my past trip this year with CAA and I found them also very inept. I knew more about Disney than my TA.
I also had a hard time getting a hold of her when I had a question. Even when I emailed I would get a response she was away on hoidays or something.

I booked bounceback and went through Disney. It's easier to modify or change something anytime of day or until 10pm at night.

You could book a new reservation with Disney and cancel CAA's and get your deposit back.

When booking a Disney promo, CAA offers nothing extra really. The parking pass we never needed and the Diamond card didn''t get us any additional savings in the parks.

Good Luck.

It's post like this and many many others that always make me wonder why anyone would not just book your disney trip yourself. I can't fathom paying to join a club that is enept at booking my trip and doesn't offer a better discount than the general public can get.

I join CAA strictly for Auto protection, like breaking down on the highway, or needing a tow somewhere.Travel savings is not the reason I pay to join this club.

They also offer deals on restaurants, movies etc. If travelling you can get free maps and routes also.
Random hotel stays at hundred of hotels are discounted too.
They suck a Disney vacations though because Disney's deals lately tend to be better than the CAA room discount ,since they started package deals years ago.

I feel your frustration. The same thing happened to me when I booked a cruise through a travel agent. The price had gone down and it was such a hassle trying to get the agent to adjust the price that I ended up cancelling and rebooking it myself. I learned my lesson with that one. I book everything myself now.
