CAA Preferred parking?

Fellow Canadians, has anyone booked through CAA for theme park tickets? Is this how you get the preferred parking pass at the theme parks? Do you still need to pay for parking?

Can't say about the parking, I don't drive!

However, I did buy my MYW tickets last year at CAA and it was great! I just told the guy how many days I needed, he programmed the card and by the time I got home, I had an email from WDW saying my purchase was complete!

Best part was, I paid in Canadian Dollars so no surprise on the exchange rate. He told me right away how much would be charged.

I would call CAA and ask about the parking though, won't hurt!

I think that the "preferred parking" and you have to pay. Preferred parking is near or next to disabled parking so you can be near the entrance. I think, not sure. On the other hand I have also heard that if you are staying at one of the resort you get free parking at all parks! Would be nice if someone would confirm.

If you are staying at a Disney Resort and booked through CAA you get the Diamond Parking pass. When you drive into the lots you show your parking pass you receive at your resort upon check in. That gets you in free. Then you show the Diamond card and they will direct you where to park and when I used it, it was much closer to the park entrances except MK where it gets you parked close to the monorail station.
If you stay at a Disney resort you get free parking, the Diamond Parking pass is from CAA/AAA. You need to show both. I would still confirm this but that was my experience last year.

You might want to check with your local CAA office as our local CAA office only gives out the diamond parking passes with purchase of a Disney travel package not just tickets.
