I am going to the Peterborough CAA office tomorrow to buy a membership and was wondering, besides getting a temporary card , what else should I ask for (freebies for members) that they might have in their office (Disney info., Florida maps maybe???).
I have no idea since I have never had a membership before.

Any info. would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Definitely maps. They will give you whatever they have for free.

:wave2: Hi
I just got a new membership too. I don't know if you need them, but they have Seaworld tickets "Canadian@ Par" and not bad deal on Universal tics too! :flower:

I went to the CAA office in Peterborough today and purchased the CAA a la carte membership ($32.10 inc tax, join fee waived) :)
All I can say is wow. It a beautiful office and they had some really nice luggage etc. PLUS , a huge stand up poster of Busch Gardens and POP!!!!
It really got me in the mood for Florida!!!!

what does the 32$ membership get you?

We are planning on buying one, and are wondering which one is best?

We have the a la carte membership as well. Basically its all the benefits of the membership without roadside assistance. Our car still has two more years of roadside from the manufactuer so this was perfect for us.

yes, no roadside whatsoever. I saved over $100 US on my POP stay by purchasing the $32 Cdn membership.

We also have great maps of the Orlando area.

What maps did you get? All we have is the Orlando South one and it doesn't even show where we're staying. I think I'll have to pay them a visit this week before we leave.

I booked my upcoming trip to Disney with the CAA. They took care of the booking, took advantage of all the current promotions, etc. Ended up saving $500 from the best price I had already found (4 adults)!

If you're driving to Disney, ask for a Trip Kit. They are free and very useful. Ask for it about 3 weeks before you leave. Your kit will include driving instructions -- including the latest roadblocks and detours -- as well as global maps (ask for them with your trip kits) and a AAA Guide that will list savings in restaurants and accomodations and what to see while you are there.

I've been a member for years and always request a Trip Kit -- wherever I'm going!

I didn't get any...I work at CAA. The map says Orlando on the front and many of our clients rave about it upon there return. Being a regular to the central Florida area I find it to be very good when advising people of how to get around.

Good to hear Webln...although we only need a week to prepare a TRIPTIK so if you are closer to your departure feel free to still request one.
