CAA car rental tip

If you are renting a car for your trip and are a CAA member make sure to take a look through your local CAA website. I was able to book an 8 day Standard for the week before Christmas. The reservation is with Dollar and came out to $212. I hope to do a little better and if I do, will have to cancel through CAA but you don't prepay. I can live with this rate if I don't get something lower, and I'm happy to have it squared away 6 months in advance of the busy Christmas season.
