CAA/AAA ticket upgrade at WDW

Hi all,
I have an AP so haven't had to worry about other ticket options for quite a while. My DD is joining me this Oct though, so I am trying to find out the best ticket option and price for her. It is a little cheaper to buy tickets from CAA/AAA but she wants a park hopper with parks and more (we don't want the no expiry) so the only option is a 5 day ticket. She actually needs an 8 day ticket though. Can she upgrade this ticket at WDW? Will she just need to pay the difference between WDW prices of a 5 day versus 8 day ticket? If there is a bigger cost difference than this, then it would not be worth her while, and we will just order the advance tickets through disney.

The answer is yes to all of the questions. The only exception would be if CAA were running an "at par" special. In those cases, most tickets are usually not upgradeable.

Thanks for your reply I thought we could do this but wasn't sure. It would be nice if CAA brought back the buy 1 get one half price tickets or at par, but I think those deals are a thing of the past.
