I live in greater los angeles. I grew up in the South and went to WDW every year for....ever. I have been to WDW twice this year as my kids are the age where the whole thing is utterly marvelous. We have also been to DLR this year twice and stayed at Disneyland hotels both times. I do have a DLR pin but its frankly a bit lame as I also am eligible for AP rates (much better). I would LOVE to get a WDW pin code. Even if it was lame but better than AAA I'd just like to be "dreamed." So my question is .....

Has anyone in CA (who may or may not be a DLR AP holder) ever gotten a pin code for WDW???? May I be encouraged to hope or does Disney decidely try to push CA people toward DLR as a part of its masterful marketing plan?

Pleased to hear.

We have had APs at both DL and WDW at various times since living in San Francisco area for the last 7 years. I get emails about Disneyland specials, but never WDW. I don't get codes. I have gotten AP rates at WDW.

I live in the Sierra's of Northern California and do get specials for WDW a couple of times a year.. What you have to do is register on the Disneyworld.com website. To start getting WDW info sent to you via email and snail mail. Disney Visa card holders also get specials sent to them. Another great source of information can be found on mousesavers.com

We recently purchased Disney Vacation Club and AP's so that helps also.

Disney has sucked us in ;) and we now go to Florida at least twice a year:) Thank goodness for Southwest Air Miles :rotfl:

I should've said that I don't get PIN codes. I just get the specials you read about online. I'm dreaming of the day we get a PIN code by email or postcard.:yay:

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and we tend to go once every two years (sometimes more often) to WDW. I have gotten a postcard with a pin code at least once a year, but I've never been able to use one. I have gotten one with or without already having a ressie. I'm hoping that someday we get one in the mail and it's actually for the time we're going!!:)

Funny, I grew up in Los Angeles and currently live in the South. I received my first ever postcard ever for Disneyland yesterday. ;) Alot of my childhood memories are from DL. Even living in GA, I have only received 2 postcards over the last few years, both times when I had trips already booked. Doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason to it.

Hope you get one.

Denise
