My girlfriends and I ate at California Grill on Saturday and I realized once we were there that I didn't have my TIW card. (I had my husband's old card.) I about passed out.
I explained that I'd mistakenly grabbed the old card and asked our server if there was anything that could be done to get the discount. I also told him I was fully prepared to get right up and race over to Guest Services at MK to get a replacement. (Especially since we were having dinner at Victoria & Albert's the next night!) He came back and said he'd spoken with the manager and they honored the discount anyway.
To be honest, I didn't really expect that, but was thoroughly impressed that in the face of an honest mistake by a regular patron, they made the decision to work with me. They didn't have to do anything, but they did anyway.
