Ca Garden Grill Check in?

I called Disney Dining today and got a dinner reservation at the California Grill in June!! Woohoo! I'm so excited!

The CM told me that we have to check in on the 2nd floor. Where exactly is the check-in desk? How do we get up to the restaurant?

If you come in the main doors, just take the elevators to the second floor. The check-in podium is not easy to miss. Once there, you tell the person at the podium that your party is there and your ADR time. Then you wait for your name to be called. When we went in 2006, when it was our turn, a CM escorted us to the elevator, rode up to the restaurant with us, and then turned us over to our server, I think. She had a card she had to insert to get the elevator to go to the restaurant, from what I remember. We rode the elevator back downstairs after dinner on our own. Hope this helps, and enjoy!

The private elevator ride is funny-- I always feel weird. But whatever... it's all part of the "experience" I guess. Have fun!
