I read that on yahoo news this morning. Neither story says anything about the mom. I'm hoping it's just a parental custody thing-I haven't heard that, I'm just praying for his sake that's all it is. I really, really, really hope that's all it is.

This sounds like a custody thing - they can't get in touch with the mother. They didn't issue an Amber Alert for this one.
