I am on the waitlist for a studio @ BWV from 10/6 - 10/9. MS is saying I have a chance as life happens and plans change. Thoughts on my chances?

What view? G/P view has the best chance of success. Std. View has the least chance. You've also waitlisted a weekend during the height of F&W. If you just put that WL in today, I would say you have a very low chance of success. There will be a large number of people ahead of you for the same villa for the same dates. Stalking the website might result in greater success. You might be able to snag a canceled studio before it gets picked up by the waitllist.

I wait listed both G/P and BW view 2 weeks back.I already have Cash reservation at OKW, however fingers crossed I get lucky on this. I will stalk site as well. Thanks

Even 2 weeks back, I do not like your chances. People have been putting in waitlists for that time period since last January or so.

I just pieced together In the last week a 5 night BWV Studio Boardwalk view for the 2nd week of December. I waitlisted 2 of the 5 nights but they showed up on RAT so I grabbed them, I'm still stunned I got a BWV Studio let alone Boardwalk view. lost faith in the waitlist tho

BW View - 8 dedicated studios, 21 lock-offs
G/P View - 74 dedicated studios, 90 lock-offs

Compared to 230 total OKW Studios.

However, your chances of success at this late date are very slim due to high demand at BWV for any studio during F&W, but especially on weekend. The fact that you've chosen Columbus Day weekend just makes it worse and then add the fact that you just submitted your waitlist two weeks ago and I would put your chances below 5%.

TBH, with only 2.5 months to go before your dates, I would not even hold out much hope for OKW.

I would try stalking the website since you have a cash res as a backup. I pulled a 5 night pool/garden studio in mid November that way a few years ago, starting 2 months out. If you can't get all the nights, then cancel before 30 days.

Keep looking and watching. Often you may have more luck stalking online than just waiting on the wait list. You are looking in the middle of F & W which is very high demand at BWV. Last year, we waitlisted 1 night in early November and it came through, so it can happen.

No chance. I have been stalking the rat for weeks for the night of 10/7. Literally no availability and it does not change during the day. I have not seen 1 day at bwv open up in all this time.

I have pieced together last minute trips before with great success, but I have never seen such little availability and no fluctuation as with that time period.

As for the waitlist, people have been on it for months and are all ahead of you in line. Book a backup plan and waitlist ssr as there are more villas there

They won't add more CCV this year. They need to sell a lot more before another declaration.

The Friday was last available on May 7 -- and that was for less than 2 hours. Before that, it was April 11th (for a couple hours as well). Other than that, they've been booked solid since January 18th.
Saturday was last available from march 3rd to march 6th.
Sunday was available June 24th, May 31, May 15 and March 5th.

to increase your likelihood of the waitlist hitting, make sure you submit the days one day at a time. Don't do a single waitlist for the whole 3 nights. That will never come through for you.
