BWV View ? Are there 2 Bed. Pref. View over Village Green?

Hi All,

Reading all the posts about views and wondering.... Do preferred view, 2 bedroom villas overlooking the Village Green exist?

The more I read about the Village Green, the mosre it appeals to me.

Do you agree or disagree that it is a great location?

There are no 2BR's there; it is all dedicated 1BR and dedicated studios and the beginning of the Grand Villas. All the 2BR's overlooking boardwalk are over the Big River Grill and the old DVC office; those have best views of Epcot fireworks.

What about the courtyard..Is that the same area? No 2 bedrooms there either?

I wonder why no 2 bedrooms are in the Village Green?...It sounds so nice!

What should I request for a preferred two bedroom view? Are there any areas that give a sideways/other view of the boardwalk? What about of the river?

We were not able to get the Boardwalk view, but I am still so to be going there! Just wondering what I should request.

If you ask for a preferred view, 5th floor, overlooking the main pool, you can get a Tower of Terror view that's pretty neat. Also, if you get an upper floor overlooking the quiet pool, you can see the canal. If you can't get a BW view, these are pretty good.

I wouldn't get your hopes up too high about a great view. We've never had a view request met. We keep asking for high floor and keep getting put as low as possible.

The courtyard and the village green are just references to the same area -- the area outside the lobby on the boardwalk side where there is a grass square between the BWV side and the BWI side, and there are no 2BR's there. The only 2BR's from which you can see the boardwalk are those categorized as a boardwalk view. All other preferred views face in a different direction -- overlook the main pool, quiet pool or the canal leading to MGM. A request like the above for 5th floor, main pool area, etc. can be made but those are not guaranteed and the more specific the request the less likely you are to get it -- if you ask for one of main pool, or quiet pool or canal view, you might get it, but if you ask for main pool, 5th floor, facing MGM, your chances are much less and you are more likely to end up not even in the main pool area.

Thanks again. I am still wondering if we should go with the main pool or the canal, or the quiet pool. I don't know what is best!

I was in a studio and loved it, but it was LOUD after closing time for about an hour or so.
It was fun for us because it was an "adult" only trip, but I wouldn't want it with dd.
