We are staying at BWV and will not have a car for the first few days. What is the easiest way to get the the MK and how long will it take on a Monday morning? Thanks.

Easiest? Hop the MK bus. Cheapest? Hop the MK bus. Quickest probably? Cab to Contemporary and walk to MK.

Allow 45min - 1 hour so from when you want to arrive. If you walk up to the bus stop and a bus has just left, it may be another 20 minutes before another shows up.

That's what I thought. Maybe we should do Epcot HS and AK the first 3 days and leave MK for when we have a car. With a 17, 13 and 11 year old it looks like there is more to do at those parks anyway so maybe one day a MK is enough. We also plan on driving to the ocean one day.

Unfortunately a car doesn't help that much to get to MK as you still have to park and then take shuttle and monorail or ferry. At least with the bus, it takes you to the front of the park

MK is the one park that most people agree that it's better to take the bus, rather than drive. You have to walk to your car at your resort, then drive to the TTC. Park the car, walk to the tram, wait for the tram, get on, ride to the drop off area (or you can try walking right there vs taking the tram), then wait for either the ferry or monorail to come and then over to MK. It's not quick.
I would always recommend taking the bus to MK. It truly isn't that long. Yes, you 'could' have a wait of 20 mins if the MK bus is just pulling away, but I've arrived at the bus stop, just at that moment, several times and not had a wait of more than 10 mins before the next bus came along...especially for park opening hours. Take the bus...it's much easier.

If we haven't rented a car, we always take a cab to the parks in the mornings. When we're ready to leave, sometimes we take the bus but usually we take the cab back to the resort too.

If you have park hoppers walk through Epcot and take the monorail. We do this quite often......takes a little longer but you can hit Soarin or something on the way through...I didn't find the buses to take and hour but if you have dining reservations give yourself at least that just in case.

Going through Epcot is ok - if you don't care about being at the MK at rope drop.

Cabs don't go directly to MK. You would have to either cab to the Contemporary and walk/monorail or there is a cab stand at the TTC.

You could go thru Epcot take Monorail......

That would take longer than the bus.

Should have clarified. We take the cab to the TTC and get on the monorail to MK.

We also walk through Epcot to get on the monorail to the MK sometimes. It's a very nice stroll. ETA: This, of course, would not work for EMH or rope drop.

Thanks for all the replies. We don't have park hopper passes so going through Epcot wouldn't work We arrive on Sunday night and are picking up a car late Wed afternoon so it looks like the bus will be the best option. BTW what is TTC?
