BWV to MCO

Hi,

I know ME picks up 3 hours before your flight, how long does it actually take to get to MCO from BWV taking ME? Trying to decide between ME and private transport. This is for the way home.

It's about 40 minutes from Disney to MCO and you need the be at MCO two hours before your flight (unless you have precheck), so private transport only really saves you about 20 minutes.

About 35 mins. BUT...the issue with DME is that you may not be the last stop. If your resort is the first of three stops, it's going to take you close to an hour to get to MCO! If you're the last stop? Just 35 or so minutes.
A car service will give you about 30 mins addtl time...at best. You should plan on getting to MCO about 2 hrs prior to your flight. If you have precheck, and no bags to check, then 90 mins will do. But, you will need time to get from your transportation to security, then get through security, then tram to the gate areas, then walk to your gate. And flights start boarding about 20-30 mins prior to take-off. I much prefer to have 30 mins to sit and relax before boarding..use the bathroom, buy a snack for my flight, sit and breathe.

Thanks everyone. We fly in and out of MCO regularly, but we usually stay at AKL and rent a car. Even with pre-check I want to be at MCO 2 hours early. You never know, just this past Monday after Easter it was 30 minutes total from DH dropping us, him returning the car, going through security and to the gate. But it easily could have been 90!

BWV is our home resort, so we take DME to MCO at least twice a year. Almost always, the bus stops at the Caribbean Beach resort and then heads to the airport, so it’s a 40 minute trip. The only time we didn’t stop at CB enroute to MCO, the bus was packed after loading at the BW.
