When I went to BWV studio (standard view) last summer I'm pretty sure I got a renovated room but didn't have a Murphy bed. Could that be right? Or do all BWV studios have a Murphy bed. We got a boardwalk view for next month, but weren't sure if we were going to have one or not. Please help my memory. Thanks.

All the renovated rooms have the murphy bed. If you had standard view last summer, it was likely not renovated yet, they are last to be done.

When you reached the room, did it have a laminate wood type floor in front part of studio and along the mini Kitchen area until you got to the bedroom proper, a very large HD TV, a tall white cabinet that has drawers in it where there would usually be a table, a coffee table on wheels in front of the couch, two chairs that seemed to belong to nothing, and a long cabinet below the TV that had no drawers but had a semi-circle shaped table sticking out of it in the center (inside that cabinet would have been the murphy bed)? Those are all among the new things in the refurbed studios.

Tim at DVCNews.com is reporting that the BWV room refurbishment is now complete. All studios now have a murphy bed.

We had a boardwalk view in March and used the Murphy bed, it was great :)

I hope we can have our parking lot back. We arrive next weekend.

It was still filled as of Tue. Over the weekend was terribly annoying as they had a wedding and they weren't allowing people into the main lot (yeah, saw it and if every person had brought their own car it would have taken 40 cars) and everything close to the Villas was filled with construction stuff, construction trucks and then a few guests taking up the remaining.

Yep, seen that too, esp when conventions are around. While I love BWV and find ourselves here 4-5 times a year, I still don't like the parking there.

Parking at BWV can be a issue anytime of the year and is the only resort where we use valet parking. The daily valet fee is waived since we have a handicap tag.

So stupid question: So if there are parking issues and it fills quickly, where do guests park? We'll be driving in June (1st time driving).

BWV/BWI has a second parking lot across the street from where the front gate is (it is behind what used to be the Hess store and is now a Speedway store), which is where anyone parks who cannot find a space in the main lot, and which is a long walk to the villas. Other option is costly valet.
