BWV Studio Room View and Requests

We are going down in Oct (DH, DS(2), DS(6mo)) and plan on staying at BWV in a studio, standard view. I'd like to be close to an elevator and possibly have a view of Illuminations--Is this possible, should I request a particular room #? If so what room #'s would fit that catagory?

Also, I would like to make in room requests such as bed rails, high chair (pack and play is already in the room, right?), non-smoking, am I asking for too much here? Am I leaving anything out? I am just trying to cover my bases since they say you are better off asking for everything the first time around instead of adding on later. Thanks for any suggestions.

I would ask up front, but prioritize your requests making sure that the most important thing to you is listed first. If the non-smoking thing is a health issue for your family, make sure you tell them that as well. I booked 11 months out and asked for a regular crib, but when I checked in, there were none available, so some items depends on timing. Have a great time!!!

The best Illuminations views are actually farther away from the elevator, across from the bus stop down to the pond. Rather than requesting a specific number, it's best to put your request in words - close to elevator, fireworks view.... To get a specific room #, that room would have to be unoccupied the day you arrive. If it's occupied, they have no idea why you requested that room and will give you whatever.

I had room 4099 which was about halfway down the hall (not a bad walk) and it had a fabulous view of the fireworks.

I usually just request high floor. I have found if I request too much they get confused and I don't get a good view.

I hope you have your BWV Std View Studio already reserved, bcs last I checked, they were few, and far between at this late date. There might be some Preferred non-BW View rooms open tho.

Hi neighbor, hope you all ready have the standard studio, they are tough to get during the F&W festival.
Just remember that what you ask for are (just requests) and not gauranteed.

We just got back from BWview and will be back in Oct 15/22.
