BWV Studio Preferred View- ?

My DH and I are going to WDW ALONE and staying at the Boardwalk to celebrate our anniversary. We got a studio with a preferred view. Can anyone recommend an area or approx. room # to request? Would a preferred room mean we will have a view of the boardwalk (and hopefully Spaceship Earth)?

There are 2 different preferred categories--pool/garden view and BW view. Your confirmation will state which you have. If you have pool/garden you should ask for a studio facing the Village Green (the grassy area that is just in front of the boat dock). This will give you a partial BW view. You should make the request now. Of course if you have a BW view you WILL be directly on the BW with a beautiful view of Spaceship Earth and the Epcot fireworks.

....if on the other hand you have a pool/garden view, then you will be on the back of the resort facing either DHS or the Swan/dolphin hotels.

Request a room on the 4th or 5th floor which will give you a view above the trees and you will be not hear the voices from the pool areas.

Also ask for a room closer to the elevator otherwise the hallways are very long and the walk can be even longer.

We had a room on the 3rd floor and wish we were on a higher floor.

We had a preferred view last Sept. We requested near the elevators. Which means Luna pool view. It was nice, Tower of Terror, Swan & Dolphin. The best thing was it was a short walk to our room. Just refurbished

This graphic (thanks, Granny) shows where the preferred BW view rooms are and where the preferred pool/garden view rooms are.

The rooms facing the Village Green that I mentioned in my previous post are represented by the small red piece between the blue and the green.

My favorite preferred studio at BWV is right over the Village Green. 5th floor.
I usually request a higher floor, close to the elevators, with a view of the green. It is the perfect location.
