BWV Studio in April 2006

How hard do you think it would be to get a studio at BWV in April '06? (standard room ok)

I would prefer to wait until my contract "hopefully" passes ROFR and get setup in the DVC system. Then I'd just rent points to transfer in, but that might not happen until sometime in mid to late August. Should I go ahead and pursue renting a "reservation" from someone that has BWV points?

I don't think you will have a problem at all. You are still well within the 11 month window range. However, getting a standard view room could prove to be more difficult, as would a BW view room. I think, at this point, a preferred view room would still be highly possible.

You could certainly waitlist, though.

The 7 month window for April doesn't open until October....so, as long as you are in the system before then, I think you will get something.

Due to a change in plans we got BWV-PV from a waitlist requested in Dec 04 for March (Easter week)05. We had a great time...hoping you get in the system soon, as long as you are in the system soon I don't think you will have much of a problem (but it might not be SV)

Is your contract not going to have any points? Remember that you can borrow points from your contract in case you don't want to buy from someone else and transfer them in.

We are going in April 06, and I just booked a SV studio, but then again, I own at BWV. I agree, I think SV would be tough (spring break and all), BUT PV would be most likely available.

No, unfortunately no points until October 2006 which we are planning to go to OKW in October 2006. So I would either have to borrow now and rent for October, or just rent now. (Now being when my contract passes ROFR and I get in the system ) I guess if the SV is booked I could go for an OKW studio then waitlist for BWV. Or just go with PV.

I just got a BW view studio at BWV for 2 nites in August with less than 2 months notice. Boy, was I surprised! The only disappointment, for me at least, is that I'd really wanted BCV but they're not available. But a BW view studio? That's OK with me!
