BWV standard view

What is the best request to make for a standard view studio at BWV? We always ask for an upper floor and realize no request is guaranteed!

We own at BWV and have stayed in a standard view may times we just request upper floor

Top floor, across from the bus stop. That puts you about halfway down the hall, perfect view of the fireworks.

We always ask for upper floor, away from elevators. Depending on your feeling about hallways and stairs, you may want to request to be close to the elevators. We don't mind 3-4 flights of stairs.

I don't have luck with BWV requests. Once I transferred in BWV points, just to get BW view for DH, requested upper floor, and we ended up on the first floor, down by the DVC preview rooms!

Our first stay at BWV is coming up in two weeks. I was under the impression that only the preferred view rooms had a view of the fireworks. That would be a nice perk to save points on the room and have a chance to see the fireworks from the room depending on how lucky we were with room location.

One time we had reserved a studio standard view room. No requests. We wound up on the top floor with a view of the pool, river and the Hollywood Studios. It was awesome. We really lucked out!

We were in a standard view 1 BR this past Christmas, and had a view of the fireworks. We were in 3123, a corner room.
