BWV Standard View Xmas week

How likely is it that I can get a standard view studio at BWV Christmas week at 11 months out? I may try and get points transfered in but not sure how many I need to get.

Making the reservation 11 months out should not be a problem.

Check the point charts for the time you are looking to make a reservation. Then transfer the points into your membership that you need.

Week leading up to and including Christmas should not be a problem if done at 9:00 AM on the first day. Week after Christmas I'm with D&B.

I thought I read that walking a reservation wasn't really worth it anymore since it goes from the date of arrival instead of departing now? What if someone wants to arrive on the 16th and depart on the 4th?

That shouldn't be a problem if you call when your 11 month window opens. No need to walk.

Call and book the first 7 nights when the 11 month window opens. Then call every few days to add on nights. As long as you call to add on the add'l nights you need before the 11 month window opens for them, you are guaranteed to get them. That's because MS allows those with an existing reservation (your first 7 nights) to add nights before the 11 month window opens for the add'l nights to the other owners.
