BWV standard studio view question

We are staying 2/28-3/6 in BWV studio standard. With the community hall closed for some of our visit, I am worried we will get a standard view of a pool under construction. Can I request any other view with a standard BWV booking, or is there a high likelihood we will face the pool construction? Thank you for any guidance.

Standard view is NOT pool view, that it a different booking classification. Community hall has nothing with the view you are 'paying' for.

Ok. So what will our room request options be? Based on the Touringplans website, it appeared that some standard studios face community hall. I guess I am not interpreting that website correctly. What views are available for standard studio folks? My DD 4 will be to young to stay up at the parks for fireworks, but I was hoping we might get a glimpse of one of the fireworks shows from our room. Thank you!

One year I got the ground floor looking at the theme park bus pickup area. It had a sliding door opening to the patio cement deck and a grass field. At night when the fireworks at EPCOT went off you can step outside and see the fireworks. The mornings no one used their patio for breakfast so we had the whole area to ourselves. That may be of interest to you. Sorry I don't remember the room number.....

Are you on cash or points?

If cash then yes, the "standard view" most often is a pool garden view and could be the quiet pool and community hall. I do't know what they are doing at the community hall though if work outside or inside.

If points then standard view looks towards the front drive and the tennis courts.

With a standard view you are only going to see the road and not much else. I doubt that you will be seeing anything from you windows besides some cars. We had a standard room this past August and it was just the roadway in front of us.

Sometimes you are farther down the hall and can see water with cars in the distance.

It's all perception. My hubby of the first scene said"we're looking at the parking lot." No fooling!!!

There are reportedly some people who have been placed in standard view rooms on points where the beckend of the Keister Coaster is the view. But that isn't the community hall side anyway.
