BWV standard question ?

Hi...i can get either standard or Preferred for my dates in June....I have stayed here 1 time in preferred.....my question is...I would just like to be near the lobby...is there any standard rooms near the lobby or are they the fartherest away...my preferred room was as far away as you could get....still enjoyed it...but would of rather been near the clown pool....

There are standard rooms that are close to the elevators/lobby. They are all the rooms that you see on the left as you're coming up the driveway. My parents were in the very first room off the elevators. Their balcony overlooked the valet area. Our rooms have always been further down, once across from the bus stop and the stairs that led to the pool. (Great room, dedicated studio, right by vending...loved it!) Our other room was even farther down, overlooking the little pond.

I was in a fourth floor standard room about eight rooms from the elevator last month, so they aren't all the farthest away. My room overlooked the main entrance.

Since SV rooms are only about 20% of the rooms at the BWV, you'd have the best chance of being close to the elevators/lobby if you book a PV - Pool/Garden. Approximately 20% of the rooms are PV - BW view and the remaining 60% are PV - Pool/Garden.

Thanks...for all of the replies....I think I will just go for PV and try and get a Luna pool veiw...from what I could tell the last time there...if over looking the luna pool....it would be somewhat near the elevators.... thanks..amy
