Tell me about the sofa beds at BWV. Are they comfortable? We are staying in a 1BR for 12 nights and need to decide if mom and dad will be comfortable on the sofa bed with the 3 kids in the king or if we should keep the king and bring the aerobed for the kids to swap off on. What do you think? Thanks for any opinions!

The new sofabeds at BWV are very comfortable, at least for 1 adult. I slept on one for a week and had no problem. They are a little lower than the king, so slightly clumsier to get out of. Maybe someone else can chime in who knows how comfortable they are for 2 adults.

My husband and I went in November with two other adults that shared the sofabed in the 1BR villa. They said it was very comfortable. We were there for five nights.

It is the first sofabed that my 6'4" DS has actually enjoyed sleeping in. And they are really easy to open and close.

I would never give up my king sized bed to my son. He gets the sleeper sofa. You have a TV in the bedroom, too, you know.

I am dying of laughter right now! When I read the initial post, I though, "Oh my, Deb & Bill will FREAK when reading this! We all know about Deb & Bill's love with the king bed!"

And here you are posting....too much!

However, having 3 kids like the OP, I understand the question. You want to be able to put the kiddos to bed and you and your spouse can stay up a bit and have some adult time. Putting the kids in the king makes this easier, as the adults still have the lr and kitchen, etc. to use.

Here is what we do--we put the kids to bed in the king while DH and I stay up. When we are ready for bed, we get the pull-out ready and then transfer the kids from the king to the pull out. Best of both worlds...we get the king (for fear of Deb & Bill never speaking to me again :rotfl: ) and we still get to use the rest of the villa after the kids are alseep. Of course, this only works if you can safely transfer your kids without them waking or staying up. This also allos to have the pull-out only open and taking up space for a minimal amount of time.

DD2 and I will be sharing the sofabed. Will I be able to put a bedrail on one side so she doesn't fall out? Thanks in advance!!
