We just got back after staying 6 nights in room 4119 at BWV. We were very happy with the room especially since it was a standard view room with lower points. We could see the Eiffel Tower and fireworks from Epcot. :cloud9:

It was a clean room. I thought it was cleaner than the Poly we stayed in the weekend before.

It was a pretty quiet room and on the top floor. The 5th floor stops just before that room. We looked over the pond and the bus stop. We could barely hear the traffic, but the frogs in the pond were a little loud! LOL

It was a long hike to the elevators, but the stairs were just a couple of doors down and we could quickly get to the Hollywood Studios pathway and the Community Hall from the room.

The patio was very large, but it was not covered or lighted. But, it was very nice in the late afternoon because the sun was setting on the other side of the building. I sat outside and read a book for an hour, while DH and DD went to Epcot.

We were very happy with the room location, cleanliness and quality!

We are staying one night at BWV on Saturday. We will have 2 studios (1 boardwalk view & 1 standard) Did you request anything special when you checked in?

We just requested away from the elevator and upper floor. I think "away from the elevator" is a strange request and not so hard to get. There seems to be a lot less noise in the hall the further you get away from the elevator. We learned a while ago that the upper floor is nicest in any hotel because no one will be banging on the floor above you. :thumbsup2

glad you enjoyed your room! I'll make note of that room number for the future use! I've only had pool view and its always been rather noisy! Quiet would be nice!

I want to warn you about something. Our last visit we did what you are doing. We got a 2-bedroom with Boardwalk View and 3 Standard View Studios and we asked that they be as close together as possible. What we didn't know was that we painted the CM into a corner in that they couldn't satisfy our requests because the there are no Standard View rooms in the building that has the Boardwalk View. The rooms on the other side of the hallway are all Preferred View rooms. As a result, the Standard View rooms, although very close to each other, were a hike from the Boardwalk View 2-bdr. Our fault for not understanding. Incidently, it really didn't affect our vacation. We had a great time and it's a great hotel!

Thanks...I didn't know that as we have only stayed at The Boardwalk Inn with a view of the quiet pool. Maybe the rooms being in different buildings is a good thing. ;)

We had that same location in February except on teh 3rd floor. It was wonderful, we watched illuminations fromour balcony a couple times. The leaves were off the trees so we could see quite a bit.:thumbsup2
We'll be back this February, this time with lots of family and for 9 nights!!:cool1:
