Hey Everyone! We will be arriving to the BWV next month!:banana: We are currently booked in a 1 Bedroom Villa Standard View. I don't know if any of those rooms have a "possible" view of the ToT, but that's what I would love to have! So my question is, if their are rooms with that view, can you tell me what you requested to get that room or what room number was it? And if that view doesn't exist, what is a good standard view room request? Pictures always welcome! :-) Thanks!

Yep, at least a bit. Request a view overlooking the Tennis courts. High floor.

This is the view from a 1BR standard view when we made the above requests:

It was 4th floor so you can see that you want a higher floor as the trees are tall.

I always requested top floor, across from the bus stop and was never disappointed. One time I got the corner 1 bedroom - 3123 (also 2123, 4123).

About 50% or more of the Standard Views at BWV are now trees right outside the room that will block pretty much any view. So no matter what area you request...even if it is fulfilled you may be looking at a tree. The rooms are Standard View so I guess nobody can really complain if they get a less-than-awesome view. :)

More important to us is easy access to the bus stop. To get that, DebbieB's suggested location works great as long as you don't mind several flight's of steps. If you prefer less steps and the same access, you can just request "across from the bus stop" lower floor and you have very easy access to the bus stop and quiet pool.

Standards don't have much of a view. We always just request a high floor. Whenever we try to request a specific view or area, we have never gotten it. So far only high view has been the only request we've ever gotten honored.

That is an awesome view!!! Thanks for the pics and requests :-)

Keep in mind that almost all photos posted have been zoomed in and the castle, TOT, other things in the photo look closer and larger than what you will see in person. BLT has some great castle photos posted but in reality the castle is small and in the distance when you see it from your balcony.

Often true. I always try and post pictures as the eye will see it. I certain can zoom or crop but that's only setting a person up for disappointment if it's in response to being asked about the view. If it's in a trip report then it's great. One just needs to look at the picture and see if it may or may not be. In mine, the trees and the canal are good indicators that it's as the eye would see it.

I don't agree with that because most cameras not zoomed will make the object look smaller than with the naked eye. But when they zoom the lens it can be too much.

Let me word it this way. Many of the photos that are posted have been zoomed in by the taker. I reality the object might look smaller and farther away to the naked eye.

IMG_2118.jpg IMG_3908.jpg we were in room 4123 one of the corner rooms and from the bedroom you could just see the fireworks, if your wanting to sit and watch the fireworks on your balcony I would ask for high floor opposite tennis courts. The disadvantage of this is you have a lot more walking every.
