BWV rehab question

Thought I remembered reading that sleeper chairs would be added to all 1 & 2BR villas as they came up for rehab.

Can anyone confirm that the new sleeper chairs were included in the BWV rehab?

Not sure where you heard/read that. The sleeper chairs are not part of the BWV rehab. There isn't room enough for both the sleep sofa and the chair to be open at the same time, so there is no point to adding them.

IMO, OKW would be the only WDW DVC resort (that doesn't already have them) with enough space to consider adding the sleep chair. So that means no sleep chair for BCV, VWL or SSR, either.

I was at BWV last week in a renovated room and can confirm no sleeper chair. As Carol said, I don't think it would fit.

I just read on dvcnews.com that OKW will be getting the sleeper chair during renovations next year (1 bedroom & larger).

I sure hope that Tim is wrong on that one. I hate when people try to put too many people in the villas and they are sure to do that with the extra chair/bed at OKW.

DVC confirmed the sleeper chairs being added during the OKW refurb.

I see what you're saying but with DVC allowing 5 people in a 1B, I think the sleeper chairs are better than the alternative. I would rather see that 5th guest with a legitimate bed rather than trying to sleep on the love seat or bringing their own air mattress. Those options are bound to add more wear and tear to the room than unfolding the convertible chair, IMO.

I understand your point but as a mom to a teen & an almost teen (boys) who hate to sleep together (one is extrememly restless so I can't exactly say I blame them) it would be a HUGE help for us.

To everyone else, thanks for the replies! I do agree that it would be a very tight squeeze (if possible at all), guess it was just wishful thinking.
