BWV refurbished room

Just got back from stay at BW and I love the refurbished rooms. We stayed at GFV in November and Those rooms are so elegant...I was in love. But I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms are now at the BW too. Don't get me wrong, it's not the Grand Floridian, but it was nicely done.

BW and BLT are my homes and I always loved the BW location and atmosphere, but the rooms were just okay, but now overall it's my favorite resort. GFV my 2nd....BLT a close 3rd.

I also stayed at the poly and didn't like it at all. I felt like I was on the Brady bunch with the orange and brown. Couldn't wait to leave. But that's what is so great about DVC...you have something for everyone.

1 queen bed, 1 full size sofa bed, 1 single pulldown "Murphy" style bed under the TV.

How big is the bed that comes out of the wall? Is it smaller than a twin?

My daughter who is 15 and 5'8" slept in the one at the GVF. It was tight but doable

How big is the bed that comes out of the wall? Is it smaller than a twin?

My 18 year old tried it and said no way. He's 5'10" and felt it was way to small. I don't think it's as big as a twin bed. If so, maybe it just looks/feels smaller because it's up against the wall?

Keep in mind that they are not done yet. Some standard studios are not done. I just read a report the other day. On the booking page it still only lets you book 5 in a garden view studio. The other 2 views still show 4.

That's crazy because all BW view rooms have been refurbished for a while now.
