I'm just trying to figure a couple of things out. First, when we make our first reservation "Home" at eleven months out can you request particular rooms or a particular area? If so, which rooms or area have the best view of Epcot. I know I want "Boardwalk view" but is it possible to be more specific about what views you want. I really want a great view of Illuminations and I'm hoping the experts on BWV on this forum will have some idea's. Thanks.

You can request a certain room, but they may not give it to you. They only say your request will be taken into consideration. It's best to request it upfront and then remind them of the request when you check into the BWV. You may also want to call the resort a week or two in advanced and see if you can get your request attached to a particular room at that point.

Some of the other websites like **************** have reviews of rooms at the DVC resorts. You may find a specific room that interests you if you look there.

Thanks for the info, I will definitely do that, I don't mean to sound dumb here but is **************** code for a website or does this site blank those out?

We've had very poor luck at getting room requests met at BWV - other people have had much better luck. When you reserve, the best Illuminations views are "high floor - far from elevators" - this gives you the longest walk to the lobby or Epcot, and you'll probably be using stairs a lot - but it does give the best fireworks views. However, when we ask for high floor we discover how nice it is to not need to take the elevators or stairs to get to the pool. When we want to be at the end of the building, we find out that its oh, so convienent to be close to the lobby. I hope you have better luck than we do.

I would have to agree... Either get a Standard View as high up as possible and as far away from the elevators as possible, OR.. Go with a Boardwalk view as high up as possible...

Keep in mind that those walks down the BWV seem like they go on forever after spending all day in the parks..
