We are looking at staying in a studio. It will just be two adults for next Janaury - end of January. Our home resort is BWV but wanted pros and cons for VWL. Thinking about trying to switch at the seven month mark. Is VWL worth the extra points? I will be in a standard view studio at BWV.

I also own at BWV. I would not look at whether I would try VWL based on whether it is worth the extra points over BWV standard. It is worth trying regardless of that issue. VWL is an excellent resort, convenient boat ride to MK, good restaurants, one of the most impressive lobbies (at WL) that you will ever see, a beach area, and lots of woods. It also has easy access to Fort Wilderness and Hoop Dee Doo if you want to go to that (there is a bus, or boat, or you can walk). The room sizes are close to the same as BWV, good main pool (although the slide is not much to write home about) and pleasant quiet pool (at VWL). In other words, it is worth doing once.

I like variety, so I try and visit the different resorts. Each has its own "likes" and perhaps a few "dislikes". Try'em all is my motto. :rotfl2:

I'm with the others. Try VWL and see how you like it. You may find you love it but even if it turns out not to be your absolute favorite, I'll bet that there will be features you really enjoy. Have fun with the adventure of it all! :thumbsup2

We actually own both:cool1: for different reasons! VWL is a great escape....the decor is great and its really quiet. While the decor, in a different way is great at BWV, there's a lot more hustle and bustle. VWL is definitely worth a try. My wife seemed to like the studio at VWL better AKV is a good choice too!
