We are a family of 4 who are will be staying 4 nights in a 1 br at BWV, we need 3 more nights..

I've booked the Poly, but a 1br at BWV has become available. We would probably have to change rooms at the BWV, if i booked the BWV.

With the added expense of the 1br compared to a garden poly aside, where would you stay?

We will mostly be at the MK, those 3 days...and we will have a car.

Thoughts?

I think it might be a nice combination to spend some time at both. Since you have a car, it's even easier. With the car, you can pack it up and head to the new resort. Which end would you be staying at the Polynesian? I usually like to end with the 'nicer' resort....and that's a very relative term.
But they are so different that it's a nice combination.

We will start with one night at the Swan probably, still trying to figure arrival night out, then 4 at BWV, then 3 either at the Poly or BWV.

The Poly might feel small after having the space at BWV. But the Poly is so pretty and if you are planning on being at MK it seems to make sense to move. I like split stays too - you get the specialness of the Epcot area for the beginning of your trip and the monorail loop for the end. NICE!

As long as you don't mind switching, I would do a split stay between the 2 resorts. Your transportation would be super convenient since you could walk to EPCOT and HS while at the Boardwalk, and use the monorail from the Poly. I love both resorts and think they make a perfect split since they are so different from each other.

If you have a choice, I might try to begin at the Poly and end at BWV for several reasons. Since you say that you would mostly be doing MK, you could do this first very easily the first few days since you are right there. Your second half at the Boardwalk could be then be spent at a more leisurely pace. Also, if you move on the 4th day, that would be perfect timing to use your washer and dryer at the BWV. Finally, and this is just a personal preference, my vacation seems to feel longer if the longer portion of the trip is saved for the end.:)

Enjoy your trip!

I'd stick with the Poly, especially if those 3 days will be spent at MK ;).
