BWV or BCV for waitlist?

I am heading to the world in October. I booked a savana view at AKL (home resort) but would love to be around Epcot. I already booked a waitlist for a studio garden at BWV. I currently have my second waitlist tied up for BWV in April. I will be taking it down on March 31 if it doesn’t come through. My question is should I use my second wait list for BCV or BWV standard? I have no preference which one would come through, I’m more interested in which one I have a better chance at. The BWV garden waitlist went up on the 7 month day and I still know there’s a good chance it’ll never come through. Availability has been crazy!

Don’t hold your breath. BWV and BCV sell out fast during food and wine for studios. You definitely need the 11 month home advantage to get the standard at BWV and any studio at BCV.

i would rather be in BCv...but I think there is more inventory at BWV + the BWV pool is not as desirable....so you would have a better shot at getting BWV.

They already have the largest view inventory waitlisted. BCV studios inventory is more than the other 2 views at BWV.

I love the Boardwalk and Beach club.. but they are so difficult to book. I've only stayed once in each in 12 years. All my waitlist fail to both.

Fingers crossed for you! I added a waitlist at 7 months at Boardwalk for Pool/Garden and Boardwalk view for a 3 night stay in October, and the Pool/Garden came through. I didn’t have high hopes, and was pleasantly surprised to see the email come through.

I keep hearing about waitlists that come through and it gives me hope but also makes me impatient! So happy for you!

Just realize that a big time for waitlists to come through is just before that dreaded 30 days. A few years ago, I wanted to surprise DH by booking a 1 BR, and ended up waitlisting. At 32 days, the waitlist hadn't come through, so I told him-he thanked me "At least you tried". The next morning the CM called-that's when I found out that it often happens that way, that people just don't get around to canceling until that 30 days is looming.

Thanks. Hats what I’m worried about. It’s a long trip so need some waitlists to come through to free them up to use on the other days after the cruise.

I did have some luck when I got up this morning though and found 1 night had come through which was a great start! Gives me hope
