BWV keister coaster rehab closure

the slide closing is in January: - Keister Coaster pool slide closed from 1/8 - 1/21/07 (Pool remains open) as listed here on the DIS, not June.

Senior moment:guilty: , know it's june (must of been thinking of our trip last June-sorry) i'm stressing.

Perhaps I'm nit-picking but shouldn't DVC & WDW/go.com be the definitive source...not message boards?

Although i realize this community is a wealth of information and keeps fools like me entertained; it indeed is putting the cart before the horse. Reporting rumours is one thing but, actual closures/rehabs of DVC resort amenities should be posted somewhere on official sites & guests should be notified in writing of same. You shouldn't have to monitor un-offical web-sites to discover this type of info (if, indeed it is valid; which MS says it isn't:confused3 )

MS did confirm that letter went out to those staying @ Vero, where's the luv for BW?;)

Sorry Keisha that it won't be open for you. I am glad to see the refurb will be done in the middle of my trip. So as long as the weather cooperates we can try out the new slide then.

That is so strange that the DIS and Allears know about it, but MS doesn't!? We're going to be at BWV the first week of Feb. so we should be all set (though it will probably be a little chilly for me, my kids will still enjoy it!) Hopefully you'll get to take advantage of SAB, which would be great!

I wouldn't be so upset except the trip is for DSs honeymoon & wanted it to be perfect:love: . They're assuring me that they're so excited for the honeymoon trip, the wedding reception itself is anti-climatic lol.

We've enjoyed SAB, I'm sure they'd be very happy to have the opportunity too; just hate loose ends.

Enjoy your trip, we managed to swim a few days during our Pres. Day trip. Somehow even the 60's seem warm when it's freezing back home.;)

I know what you mean about hating the loose ends! I am such an obsessive planner! We also went to Disney for our honeymoon, so I completely understand the excitement! And you're right, the temps are all relative. I'm sure it will feel very warm after leaving the Maine winter.

I hope you have a fabulous trip!

Rehab schedules are always subject to change. These dates might be when they are planning to do it, but until they are absolutely sure that this will not change, Disney is not going to confirm it. They would rather not say maybe.
