had to share my excitement-I had 3 nights booked in a Garden View Studio at BWV the second week in March, and our two night waitlist just came through to give us the five nights I wanted. Super excited to be heading back-we are on the West Coast and own at the Grand (with a small direct AKV contract) and haven’t been to the world since 2010. I hear a few things have changed :).

This will be our first BWV stay-last time we rented points at AKV and OKW-and our first studio stay. Excited to be there during flower and garden. We also hope to do a few days at Universal first to experience Harry Potter for the first time-my 9 year old and I are huge fans. Tips about any of the above? Thoughts about the food at flower and garden? When do they typically announce more specifics for that, like concerts and menus?

Re Harry Potter, be sure to get park-to-park hoppers so you can ride the Hogwarts Express! Prepare to be wowed by Diagon Alley, especially the dragon, and don't miss Knockturn Alley. Check out the Universal board here on the DIS - lots of excellent information there.

Thanks! Any flower and garden tips? Would you guys made TS reservations at Epcot during the festival or are the booths enough.

I usually make an ADR during Festivals, I prefer not to wait in lines during my meals. I do buy things at booths, but they are more like snacks for me.

We've been to F&G a few times now (the first time when staying at BWV) and also F&W. There aren't nearly the number of food booths as at F&W, but the bonus is the crowds are lower too. Like @bobbiwoz, we used the booths for a snack/lunch and still booked ADRs for dinner. We usually take a ton of pictures - being on the monorail around the epcot ball is lovely even if you are in a monorail with tinted windows. The topiaries are fun too. We really enjoy the vibe at F&G even though we live in an apartment and have no outdoor space.

I’m excited. I enjoy gardens though am a horrible gardener-hoping my mom comes with and she has an amazing gift for it. I like to dream :). I’m more interested in being walking distance-and food :). Plus seeing the WDW stuff we haven’t experienced yet-seven dwarves, Pandora, toy story land....

You will love F&G! Epcot is even more beautiful with all the flowers and topiaries. We have gone annually to F&G, then in 2017 I also went in June. It was so strange to see EP without F&G! I hadn’t seen it without the flowers in 10 visits!
