BWV Halloween Celebration?

Did anyone spend Halloween at the Boardwalk this year? I'm working on planning a trip during that time next year - and thought I remember that they do something special on the Boardwalk that evening. I'd like to hear some first hand reports. Was it fun??

I don't have first hand knowledge, I was there before Halloween. But I do remember reading in something that there was trick or treating on the boardwalk Halloween night. I hope someone was there and can confirm that for you.

We were staying at BWV on Halloween. It was fantastic. We had no idea that Disney went so far out for this particular holiday. There was trick or treating on the boardwalk and a dance for teens and anyone else who wanted to join in. There was even a DJ. It was extremely festive and very enjoyable seeing all the many guests in their costumes. We also went over to the Disney MarketPlace to see the celebration going on there. It also was very nice but quite crowded.

Thanks! Sounds like a lot of fun. Now, I need to decide if and when we might go to the Halloween party at the Magic Kingdom.
