Hi.

Interested in hearing people's impressions on the one-floor grand villa versus the two-story at Boardwalk Villas. Is one larger than the other? Which has more "wow" factor? Are all views comparable?

I know they're all amazing and that requests aren't guaranteed but wanted to here impressions from those who have stayed in the 3 bedroom. Anyone know where I can see photos of the two types? Thank you.

We stayed in the two story BW GV with two other families. We chose the two story because we were "over the limit" in terms of number of guests actually in the unit (we had 14) and thought it might give us more privacy- it worked out very well. Despite being a little crowded in the small kitchen area, everything else was very comfortable. The two other families were non-DVC members, and they certainly were wowed - the two story living area was beautiful - one of the upstairs bedrooms looked down into the living area, and had its own balcony. We were on the 5th or 6th floor, and faced the boardwalk. I would recommend the two story unit highly. The only thing I would do differently is choose the upstairs bedroom with the outside balcony instead of the master bedroom downstairs.

Have fun!

We have stayed in the one story I think it was on the 5th floor close to elevators, Master bedroom overlooked flying fish on the village green side and a balcony on the corner over the boardwalk itself. Very large and beautiful The Master bedroom had the large jacuzzi and the double vanity, separate shower and toilet area plus large walk in closet. Next to the bedroom was a very large room with washer and dryer and a sink. We used 2aero beds on the floor and called this the kids bedroom rather than sleep on the sofa bed in the middle of the living room. They loved and it was very quiet when the wash wasn't running.

The living room sitting room dining room and kitchen were all one large open room with wood floors with several doors leading to the balcony over the boardwalk. Great view of the whole area plus limited view of illuminations. On the far side were two more bedrooms with two queen beds in each, a large bathroom for each bedroom as well as their own TV"S telephones and private balconies. Double doors lead into a vestubule with closet at the entrance to the villa. LOTS of WOW"S FRom my quests. We did get a good laugh when I went to close the bedroom door the doorknob came off in my hand., and midway thru the trip the ceiling was dripping h2o they came up right away but my friends ribbed me about our subpar accomodations. We are usung points to get two this Nov 26 hope we get one of each so I can compare them. In any case they are very conveniently located and provide a great space for entertaining large crowds....like in my next trip 23
